Mike the Knight will be visiting Warwick Castle on June 29 & 30.
In addition to making mascot costumes, Rainbow Productions represents over 100 famous children’s characters under licence and manages these characters’ personal appearances at live events and destinations across the UK.
Venues booking licensed character meet and greet appearances include retail and leisure attractions, shopping malls and nurseries.
A sample of licensed character events scheduled to date for June 2013, which will see the famous character make personal appearances at intervals throughout the day, is detailed below. Event venues and character appearances are subject to change.
June 1st & 2nd: Ben and Holly from Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom are visiting Animal Farm in Somerset.
June 2nd: The ZingZillas will be meeting guests at Bunn Leisure in Selsey, West Sussex.
June 2nd: Captain Barnacles and Kwazii from the Octonauts will be visiting the Albert Dock in Liverpool.
June 6th: Entertainment One UK has arranged for Peppa Pig to attend a Tommy’s Splashathon event in London's Waterloo; the Splashathon is an annual splashing challenge for youngsters, to raise funds for the charity.
June 8th: Peppa Pig and George will be visiting Old MacDonald’s Farm in Brentwood, Essex.
June 9th: Nottingham Racecourse will be hosting appearances by Mike the Knight.
June 9th: Timmy from Timmy Time will be greeting passengers at Wealden Railway in Tunbridge Wells.
June 15th: Asquith Nurseries in West Hampstead will be joined by Bob the Builder.
June 16th: Peppa Pig and George will be seeing race goers during their personal appearances at Doncaster Racecourse today.
June 22nd: Barney will be making meet and greet appearances at Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne.
June 22nd & 23rd: Peppa Pig will be seeing guests during her visit to Walby Farm Park in Carlisle.
June 23rd: Mike the Knight will be galloping into Marsh Farm Country Park in Chelmsford, Essex.
June 23rd: Worcester Racecourse has booked a visit from Fireman Sam.
June 27th: Moomin will be going to Newlands Shopping Centre in Kettering to see family shoppers.
June 29th: Katsuma and Poppet from Moshi Monsters are making in-store appearances at Tesco Sheldon in the Midlands.
June 29th: Little Charley Bear is going to Two Rivers Shopping Centre in Staines.
June 29th & 30th: Guests at Warwick Castle will have an opportunity to see Mike the Knight during his weekend of appearances at this visitor attraction.
June 30th: Aardman’s Shaun the Sheep will be heading to Willows Farm Park in St. Albans to meet and entertain fans.
