Commissioned by the Scottish FA, Hampden Roary is the official mascot of Scotland’s National Team.
He made his first appearance in front of football fans in Hampden Park, Glasgow ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qualifier match against Serbia in September 2012.
Duties to date for this sports mascot have included meeting young players and fans taking part in the SYFA matches at Toryglen Regional Football Centre. He has also been causing mischief during appearances at venues away from his home stadium.
Now he’s settled at Hampden Park, Roary has been given the new job of leading the Hampden Roar.
