RAINBOW BLOG: MAY EVENTS!

April saw the launch of two new character branded trails at UK attractions.  The Pip & Posy Explorer Trail launched at Whipsnade Zoo and Shaun the Sheep’s Hide and Sheep AR Trail at Powderman Castle.  Both venues were treated to guest appearances by the characters themselves to help promote the family-friendly trails.  The Pip & Posy Explorer Trail runs until 9th May, while the Hide & Sheep AR Trail finishes on 29th October.

Shopping Centre’s across the country also played host to a number of character appearances over the Easter break with Peter Rabbit™ hopping into Vicar Lane, Bluey & Bingo meeting fans at Victoria Place, Turtles’ Leo & Raph visiting Touchwood and Bing & Flop appearing during story time at St Johns Centre.

And with three Bank Holiday’s to look forward to this May, check out what character events we have lined up…

1st May:  Spot Play-Doh’s Doh Doh at John Lewis Oxford Street

1st May: Oink! Meet Peppa Pig and take on her Hide and Seek trail at Rand Farm Park, Lincolnshire

1st May: Zog is flying into Buckinghamshire Railway Centre

1st May: Eh-Oh! Meet the Teletubbie’s Laa-Laa and Po at Woburn Safari Park in Milton Keynes. They’ll also be welcoming PAW Patrol’s Chase and Skye (7th), CoComelon’s JJ (8th), SpongeBob SquarePants (27th), Paddington™ (28th) and Peppa Pig (29th) this month too!

1st May: A-WOOF! Hey Duggee will be visiting Twinlakes Park in Melton Mowbray

1st May: Marmalade-loving Paddington™ is taking a trip to Didcot Railway Centre, Oxfordshire

1st May: Keep an eye out for Bluey as she heads to Birdworld in Farnham

1st May: Peter Rabbit™ is hopping into Cranmore Station at the East Somerset Railway

2nd May: Listen to tales of Hey Duggee’s adventures at Bluestone Resort in Wales

5th May: Paddington™ is heading to Castle Quay Shopping Centre in Banbury

6th May: Paddington™ fans can meet him in Halifax Town Centre

6th May: Catch Sonic the Hedgehog™ as he heads to Astley Park in Lancashire

7th May: The nation’s favourite bear, Paddington™ will be heading to Brooklands Museum in Weybridge

7th & 8th May: See Bluey and Bingo during story time at The Bluebell Railway in Sussex

13th May: Cheeky Peppa Pig is heading to Smyths in Swindon. Pikachu and JJ will be there too!

13th May: Head to East Lancashire Railway and enjoy story time with Paddington™

13th & 14th May: Look out for Hey Duggee as he takes a trip to Gulliver’s Theme Park, Warrington

13th & 14th May: Join Chase and Marshall at Betteshanger Country Park and hear about their action-packed adventures… you can take part in their fun-filled activity trail too!

13th & 14th May: Wackadoo! Meet Bluey and Bingo at Cockfields Farm Park in Ashton

13th & 14th May: Peter Rabbit™ will be hopping into Welshpool Steam Railway Station… don’t miss out on his story time sessions!

14th May: Bluey’s heading back to Ireland! Catch her at The Square Shopping Centre, Dublin

14th May: Epping Ongar Railway is hosting a visit from Peppa Pig and her little brother George
