RAINBOW BLOG: MARCH EVENTS!

You will have spotted a few of our characters on the small screen last month. The return of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway saw a host of family favourites including Puss in Boots, Shrek, Poppy & Branch, the Penguins of Madagascar and Alex join the duo on stage for the Happiest Minute segment of the show, plus The Wombles celebrated 50 years since they first hit our TV screens with a guest appearance on This Morning.

Orinoco and Madam Cholet also visited the House of Commons for the launch of Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean campaign.  Back for it’s 8th year, you can sign up to join the nation’s biggest mass-action environmental clean-up here.

Children up and down the country also got the chance to meet their TV favourites during half-term.  The popular pup Bluey visited Spinnaker Tower and Twinlakes Park, JJ from CoComelon met fans in Blanchardstown Centre and Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman make appearances during Eden Shopping Centres Half Term Heroes event.

Hamley’s also welcomed Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse, Trolls’ Poppy & Branch, Elmo, Sonic the Hedgehog and SpongeBob SquarePants to their stores, with more appearances to come this month!  Read on to find out who will be visiting next, as well as lots more exciting events we have happening in March… (*events can be subject to change)

4th March: Listen to tales of Paddington’s adventures at Broadstreet Mall in Reading

4th March: The Gruffalo will be visiting Hamley’s in Regent Street to join in their World Book Day celebrations.  The Very Hungry Caterpillar will be there on Sunday 5th too!

4th March: Oink! Peppa Pig is visiting The Works in The Stratford Shopping Centre and Westfield Startford.  See her at The Works in The Fort Birmingham and Merry Hill Shopping Centre on Sunday 5th too.

4th March: The Square in Dublin welcomes CoComelon favourite, JJ.

11th March: Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse will be meeting fans at Smyths Toy Store in Northampton.  Catch her at Smyths Kidderminster on 18th too.

11th & 12th March: Wackadoo! Bluey is visiting Barleylands Farm in Billericay

18th & 19th March: Peppa Pig is trotting into Marsh Farm in Essex

25th March: Chase is on the case at Smyths Toy Store in Storkport
