PEPPA PIG’S HOLIDAY FUN & PEPPA PIG STANDEE

In addition to Rainbow Productions manufacturing character costumes of Peppa Pig and her family, the company is the UK’s official supplier of personal appearances of these television characters and manages their presence at shopping centres, retail stores, visitor attractions and many other UK venues.

The enduring appeal of the BAFTA award-winning animated TV series has seen Rainbow Productions this year also add Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig to the roster of children’s characters represented under licence and supplied for personal appearances.

Also new for 2013, Rainbow Productions has worked with Entertainment One to develop an interactive activity called Peppa Pig’s Holiday Fun and a branded Standee [pictured].  The Standee is available to book by clients, alongside the characters’ visit, to provide an additional opportunity for young fans to pose for photographs.

Peppa Pig’s Holiday Fun is based around the concept of Peppa Pig writing a postcard to Suzie Sheep, telling Suzie about the fun she’s having at the beach.  Peppa would like children to help her identify some of the holiday items she’s seen that day.  Children visiting the event location are invited to help Peppa Pig finish writing the names of these items on her postcard, by finding the clues seen on four splashes hidden around the venue.   Each of these splashes contains a clue to help solve a missing word on the postcard.  Every child that correctly completes Peppa Pig’s Holiday Fun activity will receive a Certificate.

Not only does the activity set out to be fun for children, it also offers a way for clients booking this activity to encourage even higher visitor numbers to their venue on the day, as well as providing an opportunity to direct families to specific areas around the venue through the choice of location for each of the four splashes.

Branded assets connected to Peppa Pig’s Holiday Fun include postcards to hand out to families taking part in the activity, four splash templates to place around the venue plus A4 certificates to give out further to successfully completed postcards.
