Last week was an exciting milestone for UK sports mascots! We were thrilled to see the launch of the official Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games mascot, Perry. The colourful bull looks incredible and has received a great reaction from the public. You can see the moment he met Emma Lou, the winner of the Mascot Makers competition here.
Spring is finally here and, with lockdown beginning to ease, we’re ready to put characters back in front of children and families… all socially-distanced of course! And what’s more, we will be joined by some new faces in 2021!
As we rebuild a brighter future for Rainbow, we are making it a priority to develop our events programme in terms of equality, diversity and inclusivity.
As a result, we are currently working on Sensory Character Appearances to ensure we have a strong portfolio of character events which can provide equal access to people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalised, such as those having physical or mental disabilities or belonging to minority groups.
On top of this, we are busy producing new character mini shows and activations to further expand our choice for clients… so watch this space!
Here’s a sneak peek at the events we have coming up this month…
