MEET GRUBBER AND STEED, OFFICIAL RUGBY LEAGUE WORLD CUP MASCOTS

Grubber and his friend Steed are the official mascots for the Rugby League World Cup 2013 (RLWC2013) and they were launched during the World Club Challenge at Leeds Headingley Stadium on February 22^nd 2013. Grubber and Steed will be celebrating the RLWC2013 tournament which will have 14 nations taking part, starts on October 26^thand runs until the final on November 30^th. Before then, mascot costumes Grubber and Steed are scheduled to make a number of personal appearances to meet rugby league fans of all ages.  For example, they are planning to be present at the following sports events:   Salford v Warrington at Salford City Stadium on March 15 2013 Huddersfield v Hull FC at John Smiths Stadium on March 16 2013 Hull KR v Castleford at Hull Craven Park Stadium on March 24 2013 Charity Rugby League Day (Years 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9) in Wolverhampton on March 272013 Wigan v St Helens in Wigan on March 29 2013 Castleford v Huddersfield at Castlefield on April 5 2013   Further promotional mascot appearances will be in the pipeline in the run up to the RLWC2013.
