EXPERIENTIAL CHARACTERS EVENTS ACROSS THE UK DURING JUNE 2014

Personal appearances and experiential events with licensed children’s characters are scheduled to take place, via official licensee Rainbow Productions, at a range of organisations during the month of June, with host venues including racecourses, farm parks, heritage railways, theme parks and shopping centres.
Postman Pat is taking time out to from his busy film -star life to perform his “Special Baking Service” mini show during Newark Festival’s Family Fun Day which takes place on the final day (Sunday 22 June) of the 3-day festival in Nottinghamshire.
Brent Cross has arranged for four characters from popular kids’ television show, Peppa Pig, to make guest appearances at the shopping centre. Not only will families have an opportunity to see Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, Peppa Pig and George at intervals on June 28, they will also be able to participate in a Holiday Fun Treasure Hunt activity and pose for additional photos within a beach scene Peppa Pig branded standee, developed to complement the event.
A selection of licensed character events managed through Rainbow Productions in June is listed underneath, although it’s worth noting that both the date and the venue is subject to change.
June 1st: Little Charley Bear is heading to Colchester Zoo.
June 1st: Continuing the entertainment on offer for family shoppers at Brent Cross, the centre has arranged a visit for Katsuma and Poppet from Moshi Monsters.
June 3rd: The Snowman and the Snowdog are due to attend an Asda presentation, organised by Thorntons plc.
June 7th:Asquith Nurseries in Bolton will receive a visit from Bob the Builder.
June 7th: Muddy Puddles Peppa Pig and George are heading to Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire.
June 7th & 8th: Ben and Holly from Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom are going to Gulliver’s World theme park in Warrington.
June 8th: Bob the Builder heads to intu Potteries in Hanley to see shoppers.
June 8th: intu Broadmarsh shopping centre in Nottingham will host personal appearances by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
June 14th: Peppa Pig is going to Park Resorts in Hunstanton, Norfolk.
June 14th: Scooby-Doo will be visiting Eden shopping centre in High Wycombe.
June 14th & 15th: Hatton Country World in Warwick has arranged for Fireman Sam to see their guests.
June 15th: Old MacDonald’s Farm in Brentwood Essex will receive a visit from Daddy Pig and Peppa.
June 18th & 19th: Postman Pat® heads to Great Yarmouth in Norfolk to deliver fun to a Hoseasons’ Summerfields Holiday Park.
June 21st: Captain Barnacles from the Octonauts is going to Adventure Wonderland in Bournemouth.
June 21st: Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes has arranged for Buddy from Dinosaur Train to visit the theme park.
June 21st: Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig leaves the kids behind and go to Flamingo Park in Hastings today.
June 21st & 22nd: West End Live takes place in London and will this year also include personal appearances by Ben and Holly.
June 22nd: Moshi Monsters Katsuma and Poppet are going to Worcester Racecourse.
June 22nd: The Kent Baby & Toddler Show takes place at the Kent Event Centre, Kent Showground and will also include a Yogo interactive session by Pipling character Yojojo from Waybuloo.
June 22nd: A Peppa Pig and George narration event is scheduled today for visitors to enjoy at Thornton Hall Farm in Skipton.
June 22nd: As part of the Family Fun Day today at Newark Festival 2014 at Riverside Park, Postman Pat® and Ben Taylor will be performing their mini show.
