He landed on Earth from the planet Krypton and was found by a farming couple who raised him as their own. After discovering his super powers they taught him high morals and encouraged him to become a hero. He now protects the people of Metropolis, fighting the never-ending battle for truth and justice.
Superman is also known as the Man of Steel and his abilities include super strength, super speed, flight and healing as well as X-ray and heat vision.
