CHARACTER EVENTS TO LIGHT UP THE FESTIVE SEASON

Congratulations to Rainbow for winning 3 awards at the Merton Best Business Awards 2022, including the ‘Best in the Creative Sector’, ‘Large Independent Business Award’ and the prestigious ‘2022 Merton Best Business Award’! The awards celebrate those businesses in the Borough of Merton who have shown resilience, excellence, innovation, and best practice whilst demonstrating the highest quality service and indeed helping to put Merton on the map. It is a huge recognition, and this is a team award that belongs to everyone connected in any way with Rainbow!

This month, Pokémon took over the Trafford Centre in Manchester! As well as seeing everyone’s favourite Pokémon, Pikachu, visitors also met with the three new Generation 9 Pokémon Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly for a wonderful family day out!

Batman toured various The Entertainer Toy shops across the UK throughout the October Half Term! The popular DC Superhero brought his signature moves to the crowd, providing family-fun for shoppers and their little ones.

Squishmallows Cam the Cat made an appearance at Selfridges in London for the first time, giving out soft hugs and cuddles to all his fans!

Stepping into November, our characters will be busy, not only helping to switch on town centre Christmas lights but also attending various fun-filled winter events! Let’s find out if any character events are happening near you! (*events can be subject to change)

2-3 November: Oink! Oink! Peppa Pig and George Pig are heading to Banba Toymaster in Dublin

2-5 November: Sonic the Hedgehog™ is speeding to the Paris Game Week to meet with Game lovers

4 November: Catch CoComelon’s JJ at Hamleys in Regent Street

5-6 November: Come and meet with Pikachu at Trafford Centre Manchester, he will be there on 12th-13th too

5 November: Join the Cheltenham Fireworks Display at Cheltenham Racecourse with Peppa Pig

5-6 November: Iggle Piggle will be visiting Smyths Merryhill to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of In the Night Garden. He will then head to Smyths Wrexham on 11th-12th

5 November: Superheroes Owlette, Gekko, and Catboy from PJ masks will be saving the day at Smyths Merryhill. And they will be heading to The Entertainer Romford Brewer on 12th

11 November: The captain of the Octonauts - Captain Barnacles – is visiting Smyths Wrexham

12 November: Peppa Pig is spending the day at The Entertainer – Stevenage

12 November: The one and only Paddington™ will be available for meet and greets at Woking Town Centre

12 November: Come and meet with the Minions at Touchwood Shopping Centre

12 November: CoComelon’s JJ is spending the day at the Forge Shopping Centre in Glasgow

12 November: Notoriously naughty Christmas pranksters, Elfie and Elvie from Elves Behavin' Badly are touring the nation! See Santa’s not-so-helpful-helpers at Meadowhall Shopping Centre, Sheffield (12^th), Lakeside Shopping Centre, Essex (13^th), Bangor Town Centre, Northern Ireland (19^th), Trafford Centre, Manchester (26^th) and Braehead Shopping Centre, Glasgow (27^th)
