Character Events this May

PAW Patrol's Chase heads to Milkshake! Studio PAW Patrol's Chase meets Milkshake! TV Presenter, Olivia Birchenough

Meet and greet appearances by famous children’s characters from our roster of licensed properties are scheduled to take place across the UK this May – especially over the extended Bank Holiday weekends at the start and end of the month.

Characters will be attending the Progressive Greetings Live exhibition on May 10 & 11 at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.

Leisure venues receiving character visits this month include railways, theme parks, museums, racecourses and safari parks. Paddington is also heading to London Heathrow Airport to greet passengers at selected terminals. Licensed children’s characters are also heading to shopping centres as well as retailers including Hamleys in London and various Toys R Us stores.

More details on a selection of licensed character appearances taking place this month is given, below. Character appearances take place at intervals throughout the day on the dates given - all event information is subject to change and it is strongly recommended that host venues are contacted directly if further information is required ahead of travel.

May 1: Chase and Marshall from PAW Patrol are going to Wheelgate Park in Mansfield.
May 1: Colne Valley Railway in Essex will be receiving a visit from Peppa Pig.
May 2: The Brooklands Museum in Weybridge received a visit from Fireman Sam.
May 2: Warwick Racecourse has arranged for The Gruffalo to join race-goers.
May 2: Bing & Flop are going to The Broadwalk Centre in Edgware today.
May 2: Paddington will be making personal appearances at Adventure Wonderland in Bournemouth.
May 6: Q Pootle 5 is heading to the National Space Centre visitor attraction in Leicester.
May 8: Peppa Pig and George will be making alternating appearances today at Highley in Shropshire, booked by Severn Valley Railway.
May 8: Today will see Paddington heading to Spa Valley Railway’s Groombridge Station; on Sunday 15 May Peppa Pig will be going to the same venue.
May 8: Festival Leisure Park in Basildon has booked personal appearances by Bing & Flop.
May 14: Fireman Sam will be making in-store appearances at Smyths Toys in Cardiff, at intervals from 11am.
May 14: PAW Patrol characters Chase & Marshall will be making appearances at Princess Square shopping centre in Bracknell.
May 14 & 15: Avon Valley Railway has arranged for Paddington to visit the in the Bristol area.
May 14 & 15: The Gruffalo is all set to see guests at Hatton Country World in Warwick.
May 21 & 22: Audley End Miniature Railway in Saffron Walden, Essex has arranged for Peter Rabbit, as seen on TV, to see their guests.
May 21 & 22: Rainbow Productions will be managing the personal appearances of rugby mascot Ruckley during the HSBC London Sevens festival of rugby at Twickenham.
May 22: Thomas the Tank Engine is going to Kings Cross Theatre in London today on behalf of Mattel.
May 22: Kent Life open-air museum will be hosting rolling Peppa Pig appearances today.
May 26: Paddington heads to London Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5 today to greet passengers; on May 27th he’ll be at Terminal 2 and on May 29 he’s set to visit Terminals 3 and 4.
May 27: A Postman Pat story-telling event will take place at Princes Square shopping centre in Glasgow.
May 27: St Enoch Centre in Glasgow is hosting appearances by Peppa Pig and Daddy Pig today.
May 28: Danger Mouse will be seeing shoppers today at Toys R Us in Cardiff.
May 28: Raph and Leo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are going to White Post Farm in Mansfield.
May 28: Cuckoo Fayre in East Sussex has arranged personal appearances by Peppa Pig.
May 28: Ben and Holly from Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom are going to Morrisons Supermarket in Colindale, London Borough of Barnet.
May 28: Paddington will be making appearances for West Somerset Railway in Minehead.
May 28: Flair Leisure Products has arranged for Mikey and Donnie from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to make in-store appearances at Hamleys on Regent Street, London.
May 28: Chase and Marshall from PAW Patrol will be heading to the Clacton Factory Outlet today.
May 28 & 29: Epping & Ongar Railway’s North Weald Station in Essex is today’s venue for personal appearances by Peppa Pig as well as a Muddy Puddles Treasure Hunt activity.
May 29: Mikey and Donnie from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are heading to The Milky Way adventure park in north Devon.
May 29: Rand Park Farm in Lincolnshire has arranged a visit from Peppa Pig.
May 29 & 30: Small from the Clangers is going to the Geronimo Festival at Tatton Park, Cheshire across these two days.
May 30: Peppa Pig will be present at the Geronimo Festival at Tatton Park, Cheshire.
May 30: Windsor Racecourse will receive a visit from Octonauts characters Captain Barnacles and Kwazii today.
May 30: Chase and Marshall from PAW Patrol head to The Broadwalk Centre in Edgware.
May 30: The Gruffalo will be paying a visit to Huntingdon Racecourse.
May 30: Danger Mouse heads to Toys R Us within the Victoria Centre in Nottingham.
May 30: Peppa Pig is going to Pleasure Island Family Theme Park in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire.
May 31: As part of promotional support, Rainbow Productions is managing the presence of Charlie Brown and Snoopy at HMV Newcastle today on behalf of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
