With plenty of sunshine around this August, Rainbow had lots of fun bringing cartoon characters to some of the most fascinating events and festivals in town!
Sunny Starscout from My Little Pony made her debut at the Gloworm Festival; Pip and Posy, the colourful characters from the hit pre-school series joined in the fun at Bristol International Fiesta; and Dennis the Menace attended the Comic Fan Festival at Merseyway Shopping Centre with his dog Gnasher!
Huge crowds of Pokémon trainers gathered in London ExCeL centre for the Pokémon World Championships which featured the best Pokémon players from around the globe. This is the first time the event was held in the UK, and a pack of Pikachu took this opportunity to travel around the city, taking photos in front of iconic London landmarks!
Although kids are heading back to school next month, Rainbow will continue to deliver joy and laughter to families and their little ones all year round, let’s have a look at what events we have coming up this September*: (*events can be subject to change):
1 September: Listen to the adventures of Bluey & Bingo at Seal Bay Holiday Park
2 & 3 September: Minions, Bob & Stuart, in their new groovy outfits are performing at Ageas Bowl Hampshire on 2nd and Lords Cricket Ground on 3rd
3 September: Pettitts Animal Adventure Park has invited Bluey & Bingo to their event on 3rd, Hey Duggee will be there on 17th too!
3 September: A-woof! Come and see the Hey Duggee Live Activation at Sir Nigel Gresley Square and sing along to the much-loved Stick Song!
3 September: Discover the Wonders of Moominvalley, Moomin will be appearing at Queensgate Shopping Centre
3 September: Peppa Pig & George Pig are joining the forest family fun day at the Forest of Marston Vale in Bedford for a day of games and rides!
3 September: Catch PAW Patrol’s Chase & Rubble at Smyths Toys Superstores, Clydebank
3 & 4 September: Pika-Pika! Cute, fluffy, friendly Pokémon - Pikachu is waiting for your visit at Harrods London
4 September: PAW Patrol’s Chase will be ready for action at York Racecourse
6 September: Fearless Dennis and his loyal dog Gnasher will be heading to the EE store in Aldgate London
10 September: Goku from Dragon Ball will arrive at Midco Toy Planet to greet fans
10 September: Head to Two Rivers Shopping Centre to see marmalade loving Paddington™!
10 & 11 September: Calling all Squirrels! Visitors at the We Invented the Weekends Festival will be entertained by none other than Hey Duggee
11 September: The Gruffalo is leaving the deep, dark wood to visit the North Weald railway station on the Epping Ongar Railway
11 September: Do you know the names of the PAW Patrol pups? Chase, Marshall, and Skye will be on the case at Brooklands Museum Weybridge as part of their Emergency Services Day
16 September: Smyths Toys Superstores in Thurrock is hosting appearances from Bing & Flop
17 September: See Chase & Marshall at Queen Street Shopping Centre
17 & 18 September: Wave hello to Paddington™ at Barleylands Farm Park & Village if you happen to be there!
