HALF-TERM EVENTS WITH CHARACTER

We’ve been busy taking characters along to lots of openings, launches and premieres this month.

Orinoco attended the opening of the AFC Wimbledon Museum at Plough Lane, a space dedicated to telling “The Greatest Story” in football and giving the club’s history pride of place in their fantastic new stadium.

To help launch the first UK Read Hour, Moomintroll joined Phillip Ardagh, author of The World of Moominvalley, at Waterstones in Kingston. The popular Finnish literacy initiative encourages children to spend just one hour of their day reading, helping to spark a love of reading and writing in young people around the globe.

Wallace & Gromit’s creator, Nick Park unveiled a new Wallace & Gromit bench and the cracking pair were on hand to help! Based on the cheese-loving inventor and his loyal companion as they appeared in The Wrong Trousers, the bench sculpture has pride of place outside Market Hall in Preston.

Finally, last weekend Master Moley attended the premiere of his new TV series in Leicester Square, walking the red carpet alongside Warwick Davis! You can watch Moley from Monday 4th October at 5.30pm on Boomerang.

16th October: Bluey is heading to The Entertainer in Staines & Kingston

16th October: Luna Park at Brent Cross welcome Hey Duggee

16th October: The Gruffalo is leaving the deep, dark wood to visit Kew Gardens. Meet him every day until 31st October!

23rd October: Head to Smyths Toy Store in Harlow for the chance to meet Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, Blue from Blue’s Clues and Marshall & Skye from PAW Patrol

23rd October: Zog is flying into Tickly Tapir in Worcestershire

23rd October: Prepare for spooky fun at Brent Cross Shopping Centre as the Monster Minions visit. They’ll be visiting Whitgift Shopping Centre in Croydon (24th) and The Oracle in Reading (28th) too!

23rd October: Meet Hey Duggee at Twinlakes Family Theme Park in Melton Mowbray before he heads to Wheelgate Theme Park in Newark on 24th.

23rd October: Chase is on the case at Gracechurch Centre in Sutton Coldfield. Take part in his ‘To the Lookout’ trail activity too!

23rd October: Join in with Bing & Flop’s ‘Amma’s Creche’ activity at Whitgift Shopping Centre in Croydon. You can meet them at Brent Cross Shopping Centre (24th) and The Oracle in Reading (27th) too!

26th & 27th October: All aboard to meet Peppa Pig at Lappa Valley Steam Railway in Cornwall

27th October: Meet everyone’s favourite ogre, Shrek at Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park in Lowestoft

30th October: Smyths Toy Store in Carlisle welcomes Ladybug, Blue and Marshall & Skye

30th October: Halloween comes early to Skegness Aquarium with a visit from Shrek
