August has been an eventful month as Rainbow Productions managed a number of character activities to help keep children entertained during the school holidays. Events included Buddy from Dinosaur Train Narrations at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City, the appearance of Toothless in Shanghai, China and Udine, Italy at the premieres of How to Train your Dragon 2 as well as taking The Boxtrolls on a tour of UK shopping centres which continues into September.
As the Summer Holidays draw to a close and the children head back to school, Rainbow Productions gears up for another month packed with live events featuring licensed characters.
Looking ahead to September, a selection of character activities scheduled for delivery by Rainbow Productions are listed, below. Please note that dates and venues detailed are subject to change.
September 2nd: Yojojo & De Li from Waybuloo will be visiting Pontins in Brean Sands followed by Pontins in Camber Sands on September 3rd.
September 2nd: Pontins in Southport will host appearances from SpottyWot and DottyWot from the WotWots before they head to Pontins in Prestatyn on September 3rd.
September 6th: Postman Pat® and Jess the Cat will be making appearances at Busy Bees in Welwyn Garden City.
September 6th & 7th: Hatton Country World has booked appearances of Ben & Holly.
September 6th: Peppa Pig & George will be going to Old MacDonald's Farm in Brentwood.
September 7th: York Racecourse will be visited by Peppa Pig.
September 7th: Fireman Sam & Norman will be heading to intu Potteries in Stoke.
September 13th: Minions’ Jorge & Jerry are going to The Entertainer in Leamington Spa. They will also be at The Entertainer in Plymouth of September 27th.
September 13th & 14th: Peppa Pig will be attending the Essex County Show at Barleylands.
September 13th & 14th: Battlefield Line Railway has arranged a visit from Fireman Sam
September 13th & 14th: Mike the Knight is visiting Warwick Castle. He will also be there on September 20th & 21st and September 27th & 28th.
September 14th: Moshi Monsters’ Katsuma & Poppet will be appearing at Bath Racecourse.
September 17th & 18th: Fifi & Bumble are visiting Richardson’s Holiday Park in Great Yarmouth.
September 20th & 21st: Paddington Bear will be making appearances at Swanage Railway over the weekend.
September 20th & 21st: Kew Bridge Steam Museum is hosting a visit from Thomas & The Fat Controller.
September 21st: Fireman Sam is heading to Manor Walks Shopping Centre.
September 27th & 28th: Postman Pat is setting his Special Mission at Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
