Mike the Knight & Evie greet guest at CBeebies Land at Alton Towers Resort
Many family-focused events featuring character appearances, story-telling sessions and mini shows are already planned for July, as venues look to appeal even more to families with the approach of the school summer holidays.
During July, fun, interactive brand character events will take place at street festivals such as Summer Streets on Regent Street; at family race days; heritage railway stop-offs as well as visitor attractions such as farm parks and theme parks.
Shopping centres also continue to look for engaging ways to appeal to kids and families within the retail space, with bookings for interactive mini shows, dance workshops, story-telling sessions and character activities proving a popular choice.
