UK APPEARANCES BY CHILDREN’S CHARACTERS THIS NOVEMBER

During the month of November Christmas Lights Switch-On events will be taking place across the UK.
As part of these festive community events, many venues and event-organisers also secure the presence of famous licensed children’s characters, managed by UK licensee Rainbow Productions.
A selection of the character bookings scheduled for November is detailed below. Please note that characters will make personal appearances at intervals, with both the venues and character appearances subject to change.
November 2nd: Moshi Monster Katsuma will be greeting fans in-store at Tesco Extra in Stourbridge.
November 2nd: Arranged by Fremantle Media Group, Tree Fu Tom will be making appearances at Smyth’s Toys in New Mersey Shopping Park in Speke, Liverpool.
November 2nd: Fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be able to see Donnie and Mikey during appearances at the John Lewis store on London’s Oxford Street.
November 2nd: Crealy’s Adventure Park in Devon has organised Roary the Racing Car and Big Chris mini shows, as added entertainment for the park’s guests.
November 2nd & 3rd: Scooby-Doo will be making personal appearances in Barnsley and Doncaster today, at Brewers’ Fayre restaurants.
November 5th: Fireman Sam will be on duty on Bonfire Night, helping to promote fire safety messages and making appearances at London’s Brockwell Park Fireworks event.
November 7th: A Peppa Pig and George Narration event is scheduled to take place at Centrale shopping centre in Croydon today.
November 9th: HIT Entertainment has arranged for Mike the Knight to visit Toys R Us in Plymouth.
November 9th & 10th: The Chill Factor-e , a real snow indoor ski centre located in the Trafford Park area of Manchester, will host a visit by Peppa Pig.
November 10th: Market Rasen Racecourse is hosting appearances by Mike the Knight.
November 14th: A mini show starring Captain Barnacles and Kwazii from the Octonauts as well as Meet and Greets will be taking pace today in Romford Town Centre.
November 14th: Poppet from the Moshi Monsters will be greeting fans at Birchwood Shopping Centre in Warrington.
November 14th: Waybuloo Piplings Yojojo and Lau Lau are heading to Cardiff city centre today to see families – arranged by Cardiff Council.
November 15th: Medway Council has arranged for Postman Pat® and Jess the Cat to be in attendance at an event taking place in Chatham.
November 16th: Raymond Briggs’ The Snowman and the Snowdog will be greeting families at Port Arcades Shopping Centre in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
November 16th: Twinlakes Park in Melton Mowbray is hosting a return visit by Peppa Pig.
November 16th: Ashford Borough Council has booked Thomas the Tank Engine and The Fat Controller.
November 16th: Octonauts’ characters Captain Barnacles and Kwazii will be visiting Eastgate Shopping Centre in Basildon.
November 16th: Ben and Holly from television show, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom will be at the Treaty Shopping Centre in Hounslow.
November 17th: Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council has organised for Bob the Builder, Wendy and Spud to perform their mini show, as part of the entertainment on offer in Oldham today.
November 17th: Another mini show taking places today at Intu Uxbridge, when people visiting the shopping centre will be able to catch Fireman Sam and Norman in their mini show.
November 17th: Postman Pat® and Jess the Cat will be delivering extra fun today at an event organised by Mansfield District Council.
November 20th: Plymstock Broadway in Plymouth will be the venue for appearances by Ben and Holly.
November 20th: Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council has arranged for Pingu to make personal appearances at the Town Hall.
November 21st: Paddington Bear will be in High Wycombe
November 23rd: Moshi Monsters Katsuma and Poppet will be at the Regent Arcade in Cheltenham.
November 23rd: Medway Council’s event in Strood will also include appearances by Tree Fu Tom.
November 23rd: Peppa Pig and George narrations and appearances will take place in Welwyn Garden City during a council-organised event.
November 24th: Norman joins Fireman Sam today for Meet and Greet appearances in Chelmsford.
November 27th: Evie joins Mike the Knight at a Wolverhampton City Council event.
November 28th: Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas and The Snowman and the Snowdog will be at Princesshay shopping precinct in Exeter.
November 28th: Classic characters Tom and Jerry will be present at Newlands Shopping Centre in Kettering.
November 29th: SpottyWot and DottyWot from The WotWots will be landing at Medway Council’s event in Rainham.
November 30th: Noddy will be making personal appearances at St Tydfil Shopping Centre in Merthyr Tydfil.
November 30th: A Copy Poppy activity, featuring Poppy Cat, will take place at Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
November 30th: Asquith Nurseries has arranged for two of their nurseries to receive visits today from a famous children’s character: Fireman Sam will be in Harpenden, Hertfordshire and Ben and Holly will be in Redhill, Surrey.
November 30th: Tesco Extra in Upper Edmonton, London will be the venue for appearances by Katsuma and Poppet from the Moshi Monsters.
November 30th: The London Borough of Harrow has arranged separate appearances of Peppa Pig and Bob the Builder, taking place today in Harrow.
November 30th: Ice Age characters Sid and Scrat will be descending on Drusillas Zoo Park in East Sussex to see guests inside the park.
